Rahul Gandhi's visit to Rae Bareli: Former Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has reached Rae Bareli on a one-day visit today. Rahul landed at Lucknow Airport at 10 am on Tuesday. He reached Rae Bareli by road. He stopped on the way and offered prayers at Churwa Hanuman Temple in Bachhrawan. He stayed there for 15-20 minutes. Rahul also offered prayers at this temple on the day of voting.
This is Rahul's second visit to his parliamentary constituency after winning the Lok Sabha elections. Party workers as well as the people of the district are excited about Rahul's arrival.
Will discuss development works of the district with party workers
Rahul Gandhi will meet party workers at Bhuemau Guest House. He will also discuss with them about the development works of the district, so that after being elected as MP, priority can be given to the development works of the district. Apart from this, he will also meet people at the guest house itself. Rahul Gandhi's priority is Rae Bareli. He had also mentioned this during the Lok Sabha election campaign. Rahul Gandhi may go to meet the family of martyr Captain Anshuman Singh
Rahul Gandhi can also meet the family of Captain Anshuman Singh, who was martyred in Siachen Glacier on 19 July 2023. Captain Anshuman Singh was martyred while saving the lives of three people, displaying extraordinary bravery. Captain Anshuman was recently awarded the Kirti Chakra posthumously by President Draupadi Murmu. This honor was given to the martyr's wife Smriti. Congress District President Pankaj Tiwari said that martyr Captain Anshuman Singh's wife Smriti can meet Rahul Gandhi at Bhuemau Guest House on Tuesday.
