On the second day of the week i.e. Tuesday (09 July), the Indian stock market opened with a bullish trend. The Sensex again opened above 80,000. Nifty also opened above 24350. The BSE Sensex opened 183 points higher at 80,144. The NSE Nifty opened at 24,365 with a gain of 44 points.

All Nifty indexes are trading in the green. The auto sector is growing rapidly due to Maruti Suzuki. All sectors including Nifty Bank, IT, PSU Bank, Metal, Financial Services, Pharma, FMCG, Oil and Gas are rising. The Realty index was initially on a rise which soon slipped into the flat zone.
How much did the market capitalization of BSE increase?
The market cap of BSE is Rs. 451.97 lakh crore and thus the mcap is Rs. 452 lakh crore. A total of 3267 stocks are being traded on BSE, out of which 2070 stocks are up. 1065 stocks are trading lower while 132 stocks are unchanged. 145 stocks have hit upper circuit and 57 stocks have hit lower circuit. There are 194 stocks which are at their 52-week highs and 12 stocks which are at their lowest levels of the same period.
Tremendous rise in railway shares
The upward trend in railway shares continues and today also RVNL is trading with a gain of 7.34 per cent and IRFC with a gain of 3 per cent. Due to the continuous rise in railway shares, a lot of buying is being seen in railway shares.
