Akshay's Sarfira got the censor certificate but there is talk of delaying its release

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar's 'Sarafira' has received a U certificate from the censor board, subject to clarifications about some real-life characters and changes in some dialogues. However, there is talk in film circles that the film's release may be postponed at the last minute.

Based on the life of Captain Gopinath, who started the first indigenous airline in the private sector, this film has references or characters of many personalities from Indian politics and industry. It is known that the censor board has asked to put a disclaimer in this matter. Apart from this, some dialogues of the film have also been cut. The filmmakers have also been asked to submit a no objection certificate from the Defense Ministry.

Meanwhile, trade sources are discussing that it would not be surprising if the release of this film is postponed at the last moment. Prabhas' 'Kalki' is still making a splash at the box office. Along with this, Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' is also going to be released in the coming days. Due to these two films and already being a remake of a Tamil film, 'Sarafira' is not expected to get any special collection in the South.

'Sarafira' is a remake of the original Tamil film 'Surarai Potturu'. Suriya's film was a massive hit in Tamil and is considered one of his most acclaimed films.
