Aadhaar card is the most common document used in India. About 90 percent of India's population has an Aadhaar card.
The Aadhar card service for citizens was started by the Government of India in the year 2009. The first Aadhar card of Maharashtra was issued in the year 2010.
While making an Aadhar card, people often make some mistakes while entering the information. Due to which they have to suffer losses later. Because the information of many documents does not match.
But the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI provides the facility to Aadhar card holders to update the information in the Aadhar card.
But there are some details that can be changed only once. Date of birth and gender can be changed only once in the Aadhaar card.
