Manpur police seized illegal drug ganja coming from Odisha in a luxury car and confiscated goods worth 10 lakh 85 thousand from four accused

MP, July 8 (HS). Manpur police seized illegal drugs like ganja coming from Orissa in a luxury car and goods worth 10 lakh 85 thousand along with four accused. Umaria – There is no sign of stopping the smuggling of illegal drugs in the district. No matter how much vigilance the police are, but the smugglers are even more vigilant than them. It is a different matter that if a mistake is made, they get caught. The same thing happened today as well, the smugglers made a mistake and police took advantage of that mistake and on the information of an informer, by setting up a blockade, succeeded in seizing goods worth 11 lakh including drugs and arresting the accused.

Manpur Police Station Incharge Subhash Dubey said that as soon as we received information from the informer, we immediately reached with our team and stopped the luxury car number MP 20 CD 1381 coming from Shahdol near the bridge of Janadh river near village Bijauri, in which the driver and 3 other people were present. The car and the people present were searched. In the search, 2 packets of illegal ganja were found under the seat of the car. On strict questioning, the accused told that it was illegal ganja which the accused told that they had brought it from Orissa. The seizure of which was done on the spot and Manpur Police registered crime number 276/24 under section 8/20 BNDPS. Manpur Police conducted the spot panchnama and seized a luxury car along with 10 kg 650 gram of illegal ganja and arrested 4 accused whose names are Sukhendra Patel, father Brajendra Patel, age 24 years, Vipendra Patel, father Ram Kamal Patel, age 22 years, Ankit Patel, father Raghunath Patel, age 23 years, Abhayraj Father Kamalkant Patel, age 23 years, all residents of Kathar, have been arrested by the police and action is being taken and investigation is being carried out.

It is noteworthy that due to unemployment, the youth are continuously entering the world of crime, which is ruining their future and crime is spreading rapidly in the society. If the government provides employment to the youth, then certainly crime will decrease.
