Ajmer, July 8 (HS). A constable of CRPF GCA 2 in Ajmer committed suicide on Sunday night. He was found hanging in his quarter. On receiving the information, CRPF group officers and Ganj police station reached the spot and kept the body in the mortuary of JLN Hospital. The body was handed over to the family members who had come from Assam after postmortem. At present, the reason for the suicide is not known.
According to Ganj police station, constable Amarjeet Singh was posted in CRPF Group 2 located at Foysagar Road. He was a resident of Assam Manipur. On receiving the news of the accident, the family reached Ajmer. After postmortem, the body was handed over to the family. According to the police, he was posted here for about 5 years. No suicide note has been found in the initial investigation. Investigation is being done regarding the reasons for the suicide.
