Palamu, July 8 (HS). District Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan, NITI Aayog Director Himanshu Joshi, Deputy Development Commissioner Shabbir Ahmed and others on Monday started the district level Sampoornata Abhiyan by lighting a lamp in Daltonganj Town Hall. Let us tell you that the Government of India had included 112 districts of the country under the Aspirational District Program in 2018. Taking this program forward, the Aspirational Block Program was inaugurated in January 2023, which included 500 blocks of the country. Hariharganj block of Palamu has been selected in this. Both the programs focus on better lifestyle of common citizens and increasing access to facilities in extremely backward areas.
Addressing the women of the self-help group present, Deputy Commissioner of the district Shashi Ranjan said that under the Aspirational Block Program, the only objective of this campaign is to achieve the target based on 6 indicators under the Sampoornata Abhiyan in the next three months. In these three months, this Sampoornata Abhiyan is being run to increase the access to facilities in extremely backward areas and to provide better lifestyle to the common citizens through this program. He said that everyone's cooperation is expected to make this campaign successful. He said that the role of the officers or employees who work at the ground level is very important. He emphasized on working especially on supplementary nutrition under the Social Welfare Department, regular vaccination under the Health Department. The activeness of ANM is very important in this work. He said that if good work is done on all the indicators, then better results will be seen in the GDP of the country.
Work in mission mode till September 30: Director
NITI Aayog Director Himanshu Joshi, who came from Delhi, asked all concerned to work in mission mode for the next three months. He stressed on achieving 100% saturation by implementing schemes on six different points including health and nutrition, agriculture and education. On this occasion, everyone was sworn in to make the district and block strong and prosperous.
Apart from the above, District Planning Officer, Social Welfare Officer, Education Officer along with a large number of SHG women, ANMs and others were present on the occasion.
