Korba/Janjgir-Champa 08 July (H.S.). As per the instructions of State Project Office, Samagra Shiksha, Chhattisgarh Raipur and Collector Akash Chikkara, 129 children from 08 PM Shri schools of Janjgir-Champa district were taken on an educational tour of Jungle Safari and Zoo Raipur under the summer camp.
Giving information on Monday, the District Education Officer said that the children were very excited and eager during the trip. In this jungle safari spread over 1216 acres, the children saw various animals of different species like lion, tiger, samar, chital, barasingha, nilgai, deer etc. During this, the children were provided various information related to environment, tourism and animals. Since the children were of primary level, they were seen acquiring information with great curiosity and enjoyed the educational trip.
At the end of the tour, all the children and teachers were interviewed by the officer there. In which feedback was taken from the children and the objective of Nandanvan Jungle Safari was explained that the aim is to work by making a plan for the display, exchange and rehabilitation of animals and plants. During the tour, the Principal and one assistant each accompanied the children and the children were taken on an educational tour along with the APC.
