Ranchi, 08 July (HS). A sudden fire broke out in the warehouse of Bombay Musical shop on the second floor of Rospa Tower in Lower Bazaar police station area of Ranchi on Monday. Due to the fire, there was chaos among the people present there. The shop operator Sohan Kumar Das informed the fire department about the incident. As soon as the information was received, three fire engines reached the spot and after a lot of effort, the fire was controlled. However, the fire was extinguished with the water of two fire engines only.
Due to the fire, some people were trapped inside the warehouse. They were taken out by breaking the wall. SI Suman Tikka of Lower Bazaar police station said that the warehouse of Bombay Musical shop has caught fire. The fire has been extinguished. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained. The amount of loss caused by the fire will be known only after its assessment. There were other musical instruments including guitar in the warehouse.
