Palamu, July 8 (HS). A woman agent, facing financial crisis, along with her minor brother, made away with Rs. 81,000 from a finance company. Calling the case a robbery, an FIR was also registered at Tarhasi police station, but the woman's conspiracy came to the fore during police investigation on Monday. The woman was arrested and sent to judicial custody on Monday. As her brother was a minor, he was detained. He was sent to a juvenile home. The woman has been identified as Chandni Kumari (20 years), wife of Vikram Singh of Champi Phulwaria of Panki police station area. Her brother is 16 years old.
It is said that Chandni Kumari was married in the year 2021. After having a child, Chandni lived in her maternal home and her husband works as a laborer in Bangalore. Father Surendra Singh works as a mason. Father's income was not enough to make ends meet. Also, the debt had also increased a lot. In such a situation, Chandni started working for a finance company. She used to go from village to village and give loans and used to go to collect the loan money every 14 days. Seeing the financial crisis, Chandni thought that when the loan money is brought from the village, then why not keep that money with herself in some way and repay the loan.
Chandni shared this matter with her younger brother and told him that she was going to collect money from Goindi and other centres of Tarhasi police station area. She would give all the collection money in a deserted forest on the road from Goindi to Bahera and fabricate a false story of being robbed. As per the plan, Chandni called her brother on the road from Goindi to Bahera and gave him Rs 81133 and her switched off mobile. Later she dropped her scooty at the spot and sat down tearing her clothes and started crying falsely, so that people would think that her money had been robbed by unknown people. After this, Chandni took a phone call from a passerby and called the company boss and told him everything. All the people reached Goindi and the police was also informed. Chandni was treated in the hospital and an FIR of robbery was registered on her application. After going home, she took all the money from her brother and settled the dues. In the course of the incident, the mobile which was shown as stolen was given to his brother and sent to his maternal uncle's house in Satbarwa. He had two mobile phones. However, there was a mistake in giving the name of the mobile company in the FIR. This revealed his conspiracy and the police arrested him.
