At present, the total number of MLAs in Jharkhand is 76. Hemant Soren will need 39 MLAs to get a vote of confidence in the assembly. Hemant Soren's party has 44 MLAs. The MLAs submitted a letter of support for Hemant Soren to the Governor.
These people can be made ministers
After getting the trust vote in the assembly, the cabinet will be expanded in the Raj Bhavan. The MLAs who will be made ministers will be administered the oath of office by the Governor. MLA Irfan Ansari from the Congress quota can be made a minister. Along with this, there is speculation about including CM's wife Kalpana Soren in the cabinet.
