Crime News: Prayagraj Police has solved the sensational murder case in Naini area within 12 hours and has also arrested all the three accused involved in this incident.
The police have succeeded in arresting laborer Harischandra's wife along with her lover and companion on the charge of murder.
Police claim that wife Mamta along with her lover Amit Kumar Patel and accomplice Ashish carried out this incident. First he was strangled to death with a rope and then his body was thrown in an empty plot and his face was crushed with bricks.
According to the police, Harish Chandra, a resident of Shahjahanpur district of UP, was married to Mamta, a resident of Prayagraj, about 10 years ago. After marriage, Harishchandra started living in Prayagraj.
It is said that he used to quarrel with his wife Mamta almost everyday. During this time Mamta became friends with a man named Amit Kumar Patel. Amit used to visit Mamta's house often.
Late Friday night, when Harishchandra was lying down, his wife Mamta and her lovers Amit and another man named Ashish strangled him with a rope.
After this, Amit and Ashish left on a motorcycle with the intention of disposing of the body. The body was thrown in an empty plot about half a kilometer away and the face was crushed with bricks and stones so that it could not be easily identified.
After disposing of the body, wife Mamta told her brother over phone that her husband Harishchandra was in trouble. Harishchandra told over phone that some people had kidnapped him and wanted to kill him. She wanted to mislead the family and the police.
Unaware of Mamta's conspiracy, the brother immediately informed the police. On the instructions of DCP Yamunanagar Shraddha Narendra Pandey, the police took immediate action and put Harishchandra's mobile on surveillance and the location of his body was traced. The police took Harishchandra's body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
When the police started their investigation in this case, there was some doubt in the statements of wife Mamta. After interrogation, wife Mamta gave the correct information of the incident to the police. Mamta told the police that her husband Harishchandra often used to beat her. To get rid of him and to live with her lover Amit Patel, she first killed him and then threw away the body.
According to DCP Yamuna Nagar IPS officer Shraddha Narendra Pandey, along with the arrest of three accused involved in the incident, the brick, rope and motorcycle used in the incident have also been recovered.
