Anuppur, 7 July (HS). Under Operation Muskaan, the police has achieved great success in finding missing boys, girls and women from across the district. Out of 314 missing children in the district, 236 children have been found and safely sent home. According to the data, before January 1, 2023, only 62 cases of missing children were registered. Which increased to 252 on January 1, 2023, including 215 girls. Under Operation Muskaan, Anuppur Police has sent 236 children to their homes.
According to the information, for the effective operation of Operation Muskaan, Superintendent of Police Jitendra Singh Pawar and Additional Superintendent of Police Israr Mansuri had issued guidelines to all the police stations of the district to search for missing boys, girls and women. In compliance with which, all the police stations of the district made their commendable contribution.
40 boys and 196 girls were sent home
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Jitendra Singh Pawar, 236 boys and girls out of 314 children missing from across the district were recovered by Anuppur Police from different states. Where before January 1, 2023, 19 boys, 43 girls and from January 1, 2023 till now, 37 boys and 215 girls were reported missing from the district. Under the campaign, the police have so far recovered 236 children, including 40 boys and 196 girls. Where the police reunited the recovered children with their families, due to which happiness has returned to the families after getting their missing children.
Police is busy in finding 78 children
Anuppur police has been continuously searching for children in other states including Telangana, Maharashtra, Odisha, Delhi and Karnataka and has conducted this campaign and recovered a large number of children. 78 children are still being traced in the district, including 16 boys and 62 girls. The Kotwali police has found the maximum number of missing children.
394 out of 990 missing women reached home
Along with the missing of boys and girls in the district, the figures of missing women are no less, where 452 women were reported missing in the year 2022 and 538 in the year 2023, a total of 990 women were reported missing, where till now the police has recovered 394 women and information about 596 women is being sought. The Superintendent of Police said that under Operation Muskaan, all the children have been handed over to their families after completing the paperwork in the police station areas where they were missing. Along with this, the women were also reunited with their families.
Superintendent of Police Jitendra Singh Panwar said on Sunday that under the campaign, police from all police stations of the district have so far recovered 236 children and 394 women and reunited them with their families, which is a commendable job.
