Gurugram, June 7 (HS). Residents of the local Sheetla Colony on Sunday presented their problems related to cleanliness, roads and sewerage in front of senior Congress leader Pankaj Dawar. They requested him to solve them. On the spot, he was shown how dirty water flows in the streets of the area. Sewer water enters the houses.
Giving information to the media, Pankaj Dawar said that door to door garbage is not being collected here, nor is the sewer being cleaned. Due to the sewer line being blocked, the people here are troubled by the dirt. Piles of garbage everywhere on the roads, the roads and big drains not being cleaned on time show that the corporation is in deep slumber. Pankaj Dawar said that the government and the corporation administration are collecting house tax and other taxes from the people here, but in the name of providing facilities, they are calling the colony illegal.
The surprising thing is that the people here have made dozens of complaints to the corporation officials and CM window, despite this the officials are not paying attention to the problems of this area. To mislead the big leaders here, they take this area as a political issue. They take votes by misleading the people here, but forget to do anything for this colony and area. Mostly poor people live here. Dawar said that the MP and the Union Minister here have also misled the people here.
