Una, 07 July (HS). Himotkarsh Sahitya, Sanskriti and Jankalyan Parishad organized a multi-specialist free medical camp at District Ayurvedic Hospital Una on Sunday under the joint aegis of Rotary Club Greater, Inner Wheel Club, Press Club, Guru Ka Langar Seva Samiti Trust, Yuva Seva Club and Una Janhit Morcha. The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri. While former Vice Chancellor and Spine Specialist of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Dr. Raj Bahadur was present as the special guest in the program.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that the state government is determined to provide better health services to the people at their doorsteps. Necessary steps are being taken for this.
The infrastructure in the health care sector is being strengthened in the state. He said that by organizing such health camps, people get specialist medical facilities. He wished for the health benefits of all the patients. He said that people will get the services of specialist doctors from this health check-up camp. Along with the facility of various types of tests, medicines will also be distributed.
Guest of honour Dr. Raj Bahadur congratulated all the social organizations for organizing the camp. He said that the role of social organizations in Una has always been positive. State President of Himotkarsh Sansthan Jatindra Kanwar also addressed the program. He said that through such camps, needy people get free health services. He said that Himotkarsh organizes such camps from time to time adopting social concerns. Around 450 patients were examined in the camp and free medicines were also distributed to them. During this, various tests of patients were also done through MP Mobile Health Service Vehicle.
