Ranchi, 7 July (HS). Former MLA from Baharagora Kunal Shadangi has sent his resignation to state president Babulal Marandi. He has written that through this letter I am resigning from the primary membership of BJP. I have taken this decision after deep thinking and introspection. Kunal Shadangi has also sent a copy of the resignation to National President JP Nadda, National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh and State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh.
Kunal has written in his resignation that for the last several months, I have been feeling that despite bringing the issues related to the basic problems of East Singhbhum district and organizational issues to the notice of you and other senior officials, the party is completely indifferent towards the important issues of the district. When I resigned from the post of state spokesperson, I had hoped that the party would take cognizance of the issues raised by me, but it is sad that the situation remains the same even today.
Shadangi has said that the elected representatives have always been silent on many basic facilities of the district and especially on the issues of the youth and no seriousness is seen towards the internal discipline of the organization. In these circumstances, it is unfortunate that the state leadership has not taken any concrete steps and I do not agree with such a functioning and am unable to do justice to my main purpose of joining politics.
In the interest of the people of East Singhbhum district, it is necessary that their voice be raised strongly so that their problems can be resolved appropriately, which I do not think is possible in the present circumstances by staying in BJP.
