Bhopal, July 7 (HS). As per the instructions of Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, in order to keep the environment safe and clean in the power companies of the Energy Department, under the plantation campaign, massive plantation was done in various sub-stations and residential colonies of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company including Balaghat district. 3261 plants were planted in various sub-stations of MP Transco against the target of planting 2000 plants. This information was given by Public Relations Officer Rajesh Pandey on Sunday.
He informed that plantation was done at 132 KV Substation located at the headquarters of Balaghat district, the only 400 KV Substation of the district Kirnapur, 132 KV Substation Lanji, 132 KV Substation Baihar, 132 KV Substation Waraswani, 132 KV Substation Bhanegaon, 132 KV Substation Lalbarra under the guidance of Superintending Engineer Mr. Nizam Singh Lodhi.
There was tremendous enthusiasm among the family members
Apart from the employees of MP Transco, their family members also showed great enthusiasm for planting trees. They planted trees with great enthusiasm in the residential colonies of MP Transco. These plants include various species of fruit and shade trees apart from oxygen emitting plants. The employees and family members who planted the trees took an oath and also voluntarily took the responsibility of taking care of these trees.
Plantation will be done in all the offices of MP Transco in the state
In Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company, a plantation drive is being run in the premises of all the offices of MP Transco including the capital Bhopal, headquarters Jabalpur, 42 transmission line maintenance offices, 416 ultra high tension sub-stations and residential colonies. In this, every employee including outsourced workers and their family members are planting trees.
