Cyber Crime Police has arrested 10 fraudsters in Bulandshahr. All the accused used to commit fraud by hacking people's phones, cloning cheques and withdrawing money from bank accounts. The police had been receiving continuous complaints of fraud for a long time. A reward of Rs 15,000 is also being announced on the arrested accused.
The city police on Saturday busted a gang that used to fraudulently clean out cash from people's accounts. Meanwhile, 10 thugs of the gang that emptied bank accounts have been arrested. According to the police, everyone had a Delhi Police inspector's cap and a wireless set on the desk board of their car.
The police have also arrested two criminals with a bounty of Rs 15,000 each. 42 mobile phones, 33 SIM cards, 12 cheque books, 20 passbooks, 14 loose cheques and a car have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. The accused who withdrew money from the bank account by hacking the customer's phone and cloning the cheque has been arrested by the Bulandshahr Cyber Crime Police from Malgarh Road.
