Captain Rohit Sharma's big statement after winning the series against England

After winning the match, Rohit Sharma said, 'There is no doubt that this has been a very tough series and it feels really good to win the series after four Test matches. Everyone in the dressing room is really proud. We had different challenges in different Test matches and I think we achieved what we wanted to achieve. I am very happy. The youth have worked hard to play for Team India. Playing domestic cricket and performing well there and coming here and playing is a big challenge.

Jurrell's high praise

Praising Jurel, Rohit said that Jurel, playing the second match of his career, played a brilliant innings and scored runs on the entire field. His innings of 90 in the first innings were crucial in taking England close to the score and in the second innings he and Gill showed great maturity and composure.

Rohit also gave a statement regarding the upcoming test match. He said, 'Such performances will motivate the players and ensure that they are ready for the opportunity whenever it comes. We want to win every Test, no matter what has happened in the past. Obviously it has been a great series from the young players, but we want to ensure that the youngsters come forward and give their best performance in the Dharamshala Test match as well. Some of these people were not used to playing 5-match series, but they showed a lot of patience. I am confident that we will perform like the last three Test matches in Dharamshala.
