These teams are Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, USA and West Indies. In this way a total of 9 teams have been formed.
While the remaining 3 teams have been selected on the basis of ICC T20 team rankings of 30 June. Pakistan, New Zealand and Ireland could not make it to the Super-8. Asia: Nepal, Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Qatar are also competing for two places here. While Nepal and Oman qualified for T20 World 2024.
Europe: The Netherlands and Scotland qualified from Europe for the 2024 season. Both are contenders next time too but they will face tough competition from Italy, Jersey, Germany, Denmark and Spain.
