  • If you want to protect yourself from diseases during the monsoon season, make sure that you drink clean water from public places at all costs, as it may contain bacteria and viruses. You can protect yourself from diseases by drinking pure and clean water. Try to drink filtered or boiled water whenever you drink water.
  • Mosquito-borne diseases like dengue, malaria and chikungunya spread during the monsoon season. In such a situation, you should adopt measures to avoid it. For example, make it a habit to always sleep with a mosquito net, keep your surroundings clean, wear full-sleeved clothes, use mosquito repellent incense or cream.
  • Dispose of garbage properly and ensure that dustbin lids are closed properly. Do not allow water to accumulate in pots, coolers and any kind of containers. Clean drains to prevent waterlogging.
  • Absolutely no street food of any kind in monsoon. Street foods or cut fruits contain harmful parasites that can make you suffer from food poisoning, diarrhea, typhoid.
  • Poor sleep can weaken your immune system. You can be more susceptible to diseases during monsoon. In such a situation, you should sleep for 8 hours every night to boost your immunity.
