Ranchi, 06 July (HS). RJD's Jharkhand in-charge and former Union Minister Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav said that RJD will contest the assembly elections in alliance with JMM and Congress. RJD has started preparations for the assembly elections proposed in November-December. The party has decided that before the elections, RJD workers will work on strengthening the party at the booth level. Yadav was speaking at a press conference in the state office on Saturday. He said that National President Lalu Prasad Yadav and leader Tejaswi Yadav have played an important role in forming the India Alliance.
Yadav said that in the party's foundation day celebrations on Friday, there was a wide discussion on the preparations for the assembly elections. It has also been decided to complete two important tasks before the elections. First, the organisational structure will be strengthened. Second, the responsibility of every worker will be decided.
He has said that the party will announce the assembly election program in ten days. Targeting the BJP, he said that the BJP is adopting hate and divisive policies in the country today. This has caused a lot of resentment among the people.
On the occasion, state president Sanjay Singh Yadav said that the seats on which the party will contest the elections have been identified. The top leadership of the party will be informed about this first. After the final decision, this information will be made public.
