Budget 2024 Date: The Union Budget for the financial year 2024-25 will be presented in the Lok Sabha on July 23. The Budget session of Parliament will run from July 22 to August 12. The dates were announced by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.
“The Hon’ble President of India, on the recommendation of the Government of India, has approved the proposal to convene both Houses of Parliament for the Budget Session, 2024 from 22nd July, 2024 to 12th August, 2024,” Rijiju said in a post on X.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the full budget of the third term of the Modi government. She presented the interim budget in Parliament on February 1. Sitharaman, who became the Union Finance Minister for the second time in a row, will become the first person to present seven consecutive Union Budgets. She will surpass Morarji Desai who had presented six consecutive budgets.
