Ranchi Deputy Commissioner held a meeting in view of the World Tribal Day program and gave instructions

Ranchi, 05 July (HS). Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha held a meeting at the Collectorate regarding the proposed state level function on the occasion of World Tribal Day on 9-10 August. The program will be organized at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Smriti Udyan. The outline and preparation of the program was discussed in the meeting. It was said that a cell and event team will be formed soon for this program. During this, he also gave many instructions to the concerned officials.

The Deputy Commissioner discussed how to make better preparations at the venue based on the experiences of last year. The stalls to be set up during the programme, food stalls, parking arrangements, cleanliness, electricity arrangements, drinking water arrangements, fire fighting arrangements and all other arrangements, food, water and accommodation arrangements for the artists who came to participate in the programme from other districts were reviewed.

In the meeting, the inclusion of tribal culture, music, dance, literature, history, art and skills of other states, their different economic activities and specialities of sports field in the two-day tribal festival on World Tribal Day was also discussed.

The Deputy Commissioner said that this program is a great medium to show the folk culture of Jharkhand, the historical heritage of its people on the world map. For this, he asked to start preparations to improve every system to make it grand. The Deputy Commissioner asked to organize an exhibition during the program so that people can see the tribal culture of other countries. This will enable people from Jharkhand and other states to get acquainted with the tribal culture of many countries of the world.

The Deputy Commissioner said that efforts should be made to bring innovation in the format of the programme. For this, efforts should be made to include tribal groups from other countries in this state level programme so that the tribal groups of Jharkhand state can know well about the tribal groups there.
