Testimony in the case related to suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal

Ranchi, 05 July (HS). Testimony was recorded in the PMLA court on Friday in the case related to suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal, who is in jail on charges of money laundering of MNREGA scam amount. Testimony of witness Pantjali Mishra released by ED was recorded.

After the testimony was completed, cross-examination was done by the defense. The witness told the court about the statement given to the ED. During the testimony, Pooja Singhal, who is in jail, was present through video conferencing and listening. The court has fixed the date of next hearing as July 10. ED has so far presented 13 witnesses in the case. Pooja Singhal has been in jail since May 25, 2022.
