Dargah police caught a fake IRS youth, interrogation continues

Ajmer, July 5 (HS). Dargah Thana Police has arrested a fake IRS youth. The accused, claiming to be Lok Sabha Secretary, had called police officers and Dargah Thana and asked for police protection for VIP visit to the Dargah. Police reached the spot and arrested the youth after questioning him as he seemed suspicious. The accused will be presented in the court on Saturday by Dargah Thana Police and further investigation will be done.

Dargah police station in-charge Narendra Jakhar said that on Friday a youth had called the District Superintendent of Police and Dargah police station. The youth, claiming to be the Lok Sabha Secretary, said that the police system at the Dargah was not good and asked for police protection for VIP pilgrimage. The team of Dargah police station reached the spot and questioned the youth, who claimed to be a 2012 batch IRS officer. The station in-charge said that the youth looked suspicious and was thoroughly questioned and when asked for his ID, it turned out to be fake. The team took action and arrested Shoaib Khan (29) son of Hafiz, a resident of Kanpur, UP, for disturbing peace. The station in-charge said that to make VIP pilgrimage, he had called senior officials and the police station, claiming to be a fake Lok Sabha Secretary. Accused Shoaib had come to Ajmer on Thursday itself. He also stayed in the Circuit House in a fake manner. The accused will be produced in court on Saturday and further investigation will be done.
