Haridwar, July 4 (HS). Police has arrested two accused in the murder case related to land dispute in village Bahadarpur Khadar of Laksar Kotwali area on July 2. Police has also recovered two looted mobile phones from the accused.
According to the information, Ashok Saini was beaten to death due to a land dispute in village Bahadurpur Khadar of Laksar Kotwali area. In this regard, the deceased's wife Sunita, resident of village Bahadurpur Khadar, had lodged a case in Kotwali Laxman against the named accused Amrish son Sumerchand, Gurmeet son Sumerchand, Kanwarpal son Baru, Rajiv son Kanwarpal and Pankaj son Sadhuram. Taking action, the Laxman police called two real brothers Amrish and Gurmeet involved in the incident to the Kotwali for questioning. They confessed their crime. 02 mobile phones looted from Ashok Saini have also been recovered from them.
This was the reason for the incident
Accused Amrish and Ashok Saini had taken 1000 feet and 180 feet land respectively in the same plot from Amit Saini of the village. The accused was getting a house constructed on the said land, due to which there was a dispute between the two parties for some time, the police had registered a beat information of both the parties on June 08 and sent the challan report to the court on June 09. On July 2, Ashok Saini took Prashant with him at 2 o'clock in the night to demolish the wall of the under-construction house being built by accused Amrish. Where they had a dispute. On this, the accused attacked Ashok Saini and Prashant with sticks. Ashok and Prashant got injured, who were taken by the family to the Government Health Center Laksar, where the doctors, seeing their condition serious, referred them to the District Hospital Haridwar. Ashok Saini died during treatment here and Prashant was referred to AIIMS Rishikesh where he is undergoing treatment.
The names of the arrested accused are Amrish son Sumerand and Gurmeet son Sumerchand, residents of village Bahadarpur Khadar, Kotwali Laksar police station, Haridwar district. Amrish has four cases registered against him in various cases in the past.
