Ranchi, July 4 (HS). Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan on Thursday invited Hemant Soren to form the government. After this, Hemant Soren will take oath for the third time as the 13th Chief Minister of the state at 5 pm today. For now, he will be sworn in as the only Chief Minister. The expansion of the cabinet and the swearing-in will take place later.
When Hemant met the Governor this morning, it was being said that the swearing-in ceremony of the Hemant government would take place on July 7, but in the meeting held at Hemant Soren's residence, it was decided that Hemant would take oath as the Chief Minister today itself and the cabinet would be expanded later.
Earlier, Hemant Soren met the Governor along with the leaders of the Indy alliance. Minister Satyanand Bhokta, State Congress President Rajesh Thakur, MLA Kalpana Soren, Vinod Singh were also present. The Governor has invited Hemant Soren to take oath by appointing him as the nominated Chief Minister. After this, Hemant Soren also thanked the Governor through social media. No change in cabinet expected
After taking oath as Chief Minister, will only old faces be seen in Hemant Soren's cabinet or will new MLAs also get a place? This means that Basant Soren, Mithilesh Thakur, Baby Devi, Hafizul Hasan and Deepak Birua can again become ministers in Hemant Soren's new cabinet.
