India has made preparations for victory in the fourth Test match against England to be held in Ranchi. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, now needs only 152 runs to win this match. On the third day of the match, India's legendary spinner Ravichandran Ashwin achieved a big achievement.
He broke the record of great former Indian spinner Anil Kumble by dismissing Ollie Pope in the second innings of England. By taking five wickets in the second innings of the Ranchi Test, Ashwin became the highest wicket-taker in Test cricket on Indian soil.
Ashwin now has 354 wickets in 59 matches for India. Earlier, Anil Kumble had taken the maximum of 350 wickets in a total of 63 matches on home ground. Anil Kumble has taken a total of 619 wickets in 132 Test matches in his Test career with Team India. The third bowler to take the most wickets in India is Harbhajan Singh (265).
