Special session of Jharkhand Assembly on July 8

Ranchi, July 4 (HS). A special session of the Assembly has been called on Monday as soon as Hemant Soren took oath as the Chief Minister. After taking oath, a meeting of the Council of Ministers was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

In the meeting, approval was given to convene the fifth Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha on July 8 as per the following provisional program. On July 8, under Rule 139 of the procedure and conduct of business of the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha, the Chief Minister will present, debate and vote on the motion of confidence in the Council of Ministers.
