Union Minister of State Ram Nath Thakur was welcomed by NDA workers in Samastipur

Samastipur, 04 July (HS). On the arrival of Union Minister of State for Agriculture Ram Nath Thakur in Samastipur, he was welcomed by the NDA alliance at the local Karpoori Auditorium.

Before the felicitation, Thakur went to the Kapuri Memorial in his native village Karpuri Gram and garlanded the portrait of his father, the late leader of the masses, Karpuri Thakur. Thakur assured the people of the district that the state and the country will progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and necessary initiatives will be taken to solve the problems of the farmers of Samastipur, which will more than double the income of the farmers.

He said that the double engine government is taking steps for the welfare of farmers, labourers, youth and unemployed. A lot is to come in the upcoming budget which will pave the way for the development of the district. Workers and common people welcomed him at the border of the district and in Kothia, Tajpur, Aadharpur, Motipur.
