A case of fraud has been registered for cheating a person of Rs 2.5 lakh by making obscene video on WhatsApp

Jind, July 4 (HS). Cyber ​​police station has registered a case of fraud against unknown people for making obscene videos through WhatsApp calls and defrauding Rs 2.5 lakh.

On Wednesday, a person from Alewa police station area told the police in a complaint that on July 1, he received a WhatsApp video call on his phone. In which a girl was seen taking off her clothes. On which he disconnected the call. After this, he was blackmailed on calls and was also threatened with police. On which he deposited more than two and a half lakh rupees in the accounts mentioned by them. Despite this, they kept demanding money continuously.

Giving information on Thursday, Cyber ​​Police Station's investigating officer Satbir Singh said that on the complaint of the person, the police has registered a case against unknown people under various Indian Judicial Code including fraud and started investigation.
