Ramgarh, 04 July (HS). DC Chandan Kumar reviewed the work being done by the social security branch in his office room on Thursday. During this, the DC directed to run a campaign to provide the benefits of other pension schemes including the Sarvajan Pension Scheme to the people of the transgender group. For this, the DC gave important instructions regarding putting up hoardings at major squares and other public areas of the district and spreading widespread publicity.
Link Aadhaar card and mobile number of pension beneficiaries soon
While reviewing the work related to linking the Aadhar and mobile numbers of the beneficiaries of pension schemes, the DC directed to complete the work of linking the Aadhar card and mobile numbers of 100% pension beneficiaries as soon as possible. At the same time, the DC also directed to make the beneficiaries of pension schemes aware about linking their Aadhar card with the mobile number in order to receive pension regularly. Along with this, the DC directed the Block Development Officers to organize camps for the Aadhar card seeding work of the beneficiaries under the pension schemes.
The DC directed the Social Security Officer to conduct a special campaign to survey those pensioners who have died and are currently in the list of pension beneficiaries and take necessary action to cover the eligible new beneficiaries with the pension benefits.
