Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has targeted the previous Ashok Gehlot government regarding the ambitious ERCP project of Rajasthan. Earlier on Sunday, CM Bhajanlal Sharma addressed thanksgiving meetings organized in various districts on the second day of his Rajasthan tour.
During this, Bhajanlal Sharma said that the previous government had made promises on Rajasthan's ambitious project ERCP only for the sake of politics. He did politics of corruption and appeasement. Whereas within one and a half months of formation of our government, the state government has prepared a roadmap to implement this project on the ground, fulfilling the promise of MoU with the Central and Madhya Pradesh governments.
He said that the state government will fulfill every promise made in the resolution letter in a time bound manner. During this, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the revised Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Project (Integrated ERCP) worth Rs 45 thousand crore will prove to be a lifeline for Rajasthan.
This will solve the age-old problem of irrigation and drinking water in this area and due to abundant irrigation in the fields, this land will also yield gold.
