Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that he faced discrimination because of his looks and colour and people hated him for being ugly.
Nawaz said that he has faced discrimination in society because of his colour but he is thankful to the film industry where he did not have to face all this. In an interview, Nawaz said, 'I don't know why some people hate me because of my looks. Maybe my face is also like that, very ugly. When I see myself in the mirror, I often think about it. Then I tell myself why did I come to the film industry with such an ugly face? Physically I am the worst looking actor in this film industry. I believe this because I have been hearing this from the beginning and now I have also started feeling the same.'
Praising the film industry, Nawaz said, 'If you have even a little talent, then the industry is ready to give you a lot. There is discrimination in society but not in industries.' Talking about Nawazuddin's career, he made his debut in 1999 with the film 'Sarfarosh'. He played the role of a terrorist in this film. After this, he acted in 'Munnabhai MBBS', 'Black Friday', 'Dev D', 'Kahaani', 'Paan Singh Tomar', 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Talaash', 'Kick', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Raman Raghave' has worked in many films including 2.0', 'Sacred Games', 'Manto', 'Kahaani'. Recently, Nawaz's film 'Rautu Ka Raaz' was released on OTT on June 28, in which he is playing the role of a police officer.
