Now the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in 11 states including Gujarat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the north-west and central parts of the country for the next 5 days. Apart from this, heavy rains are also expected this week in Uttar Pradesh, which is facing severe heat.
In which states will it rain today?
The Meteorological Department said today (04 July) that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, East Rajasthan till July 8. Apart from this, there may be heavy rain in western Madhya Pradesh on July 5 and in eastern Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand today. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand till July 8.
Heavy rain likely in most states
The IMD has further said that heavy rains are likely in Odisha till July 8. While similar weather is also expected in Bihar, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura between July 6 and 8. Heavy rains may occur in Bihar today and tomorrow (July 5). Apart from this, heavy rains are expected in most of the states of North-East India till July 8. During the next five days, light to moderate rains may occur in Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Coastal Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Gujarat. While light to moderate rains are also expected in Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Interior Karnataka. During this time, sporadic light rains may occur in Marathwada, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema, Telangana.
