Palwal, July 3 (HS). A case has come to light in which thieves broke the lock of a shop in Mohan Shyam Market and stole cash worth Rs 5 lakh and goods worth lakhs from the shop. On the complaint of the shop owner, the police have registered a case against the thieves under various sections and have started searching for the thieves. Police say that the thieves will be arrested soon.
According to the information received, Deepak, a resident of Manpur village, has said in his complaint to the police that he has taken the franchise of Miso and Sandovax in Mohan Shyam Market. Goods of the said companies come and go to his shop. Due to which the company's cash and his own cash are often kept at the shop.
During the night, thieves broke the locks of his shop and stole Rs 3.70 lakh of company's COD (cash on delivery), Rs 1.25 lakh of his own cash and goods worth Rs 1.15 lakh of the company. In the morning, when he went to the shop and saw, the ground slipped from under his feet, because cash was kept in the shop.
Hodal police station in-charge Tejpal said on Wednesday that on the basis of the complaint given by the victim, when the shop was opened in the morning and the goods and cash were checked, they were found missing from the shop. The shopkeeper immediately complained about this to the police. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the shop owner Deepak and have started searching for the thieves.
Police investigating officer Liaquat Ali says that the entire incident of theft has been captured in the CCTV camera, but the thief is wearing shorts and vest and has a cloth tied over his mouth. Due to which he has not been identified yet. He said that soon he will be identified and arrested.
