Jind, July 3 (HS). Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar held a meeting with the Business Board of Jind city on Wednesday. In the meeting, the SP heard the problems and complaints of the traders and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned for their immediate resolution.

During the meeting, the traders were assured of all possible help and security from the police at all times. He said that anyone can complain about any kind of problem to the police at any time, which will be resolved with high quality. The main issues raised by the traders in the meeting were traffic system in the market, jamming by putting up hawkers near Ghantaghar and people openly drinking alcohol in front of the liquor shop on Aara Road. During this, the traders themselves told that some shopkeepers also keep goods outside their shops due to which there is a problem of jam on the road.

To solve the problems, SP Sumit Kumar has ordered DSP Traffic, Police Station Traffic Incharge and Police Station City Jind Incharge to increase patrolling in the city and to improve the traffic system in the market streets. He told the traders to immediately inform the police about any kind of illegal activities and drug peddlers in the district so that prompt action can be taken on it.

The SP said that people should keep checking the CCTV cameras installed in their shops to see if they are working properly or not. In the meeting, traders were advised to install CCTV cameras in their shops for security purposes so that any criminal activity can be monitored. He assured to solve the problems of traders.
