52 tablets including paracetamol and painkillers fail quality test!

Who has not used paracetamol? We all take paracetamol in case of a minor cold, headache or fever.

According to a recent report, the Central Drug Quality Control Organisation (CDSCO) has said that the widely used pantoprazole along with paracetamol and some antibacterials are not of standard quality.

These medicines were collected from Himachal Pradesh, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Vadodara and tested. 52 medicines failed in this.

Anti-depressants, anti-hypertensive drug diclofenac, anti-hypertensive drug telmisartan, ambroxol, respiratory drug fluconazole, calcium tablets are all not up to standard.

Paracetamol company issued notice:
According to sources, the drug regulator has issued a notice to paracetamol manufacturing companies.

Clonazepam tablets are prescribed for epilepsy, this medicine is given to people suffering from extreme mental stress. Companies manufacturing diclofenac as a painkiller, ambroxol for respiratory problems, some multivitamin supplements and calcium tablets also fail to maintain quality. These medicines are manufactured in Himachal Pradesh. About 52 medicines failed the quality test.

Do not consume excessive amounts of painkillers like paracetamol
Some people have a habit of taking these medicines for small problems, doing this is not good from the health point of view. In case of fever, the doctor prescribes paracetamol, take it for three or five days as prescribed, do not take too much. This can cause side effects.
