The Indian stock market today closed in the green zone after historically crossing the 80,000 mark in the morning. Yesterday the market closed in the red zone. For the second consecutive day, the market reached an all-time high. During trading, the Sensex touched 80,074 and the Nifty touched 24,307. However, after this the market declined slightly and the Sensex closed at 79,986, up 545 points.
Nifty also rose 168 points. It closed at 24,292. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 rose and 5 fell. Banking, power and metal stocks are rising. Tata Consumer shares rose 3.55%.
The market also made an all-time high yesterday
Earlier, yesterday i.e. on July 2, the stock market had made an all-time high. During trading, the Sensex touched 79,855 and the Nifty touched 24,236. However, after this the market saw a decline. The Sensex fell 34 points to close at 79,441. Nifty was also down 18 points. It closed at 24,123.
