NDA's biggest ally increased BJP's tension, Congress is ready to meet CM

Chandrababu Naidu News : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, an ally of the BJP, has written a letter to Telangana Congress Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy seeking time to meet him. Amid reports that Nitish Kumar is ready to leave the BJP, Chandrababu's move towards the Congress has also affected the BJP government at the Centre.

This is the first time a BJP supporter will meet a Congress CM in person. Chandrababu has already expressed his desire to meet Revanth Reddy at his residence in Hyderabad on July 5. Which Revanth Reddy has welcomed.

The BJP leadership believes that Chandrababu is preparing for a future alliance with the Congress as he has officially expressed his desire to meet Reddy to discuss what Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can do together.

According to BJP sources, since both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are pushing agendas including reservation for Muslims, TDP strategists believe that if the two unite, all other parties will be wiped out from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Given that Chandrababu's TDP and Congress contested the assembly elections in Telangana in 2018, an alliance between the two is possible. This is also a win-win for the Congress as it will provide an opportunity to topple the Narendra Modi government and form an India Front government.

Chandrababu has announced in an official tweet that he has written a letter to Revanth Reddy. Chandrababu also wrote a proposal for a meeting to discuss matters of mutual interest of the two Telugu-speaking states of Andhra and Telangana. The purpose of the meeting is to increase cooperation and promote development in both the states besides resolving the problems arising out of the division of the two states.

Chandrababu Naidu wanted the Information Technology (IT) ministry in the Narendra Modi cabinet, but it is believed that Chandrababu Naidu is angry that BJP has kept the IT ministry with itself. Manata Ashwini Vaishnav, a close aide of Narendra Modi, has been made the IT minister. Chandrababu is angry that BJP did not even give the Lok Sabha Speaker's post to TDP.

Hyderabad was once the hub of the IT sector but now Bengaluru has taken over. Hyderabad is now going to Telangana so Chandrababu wants to develop Andhra Pradesh's new capital Amaravati and Visakhapatnam as IT hubs. If the IT ministry was with the TDP, Chandrababu could have pressurised top IT companies to shift them to Andhra Pradesh, but the BJP did not let this happen.
