Assessed the arrangements for pilgrims at Yatri Niwas Chandrakot

Jammu, July 2 (HS). Ramban Deputy Commissioner Baseer-ul-Haq Choudhary visited Yatri Niwas Chanderkot and interacted with the pilgrims staying there. The DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjit Singh Charak, ACD Srinath Suman and other concerned officers. The Deputy Commissioner also took stock of the facilities available for the pilgrims from Camp Director S.J.P. Singh.

During this, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the health camp set up by the Health Department for the convenience of the passengers. He instructed the doctors to provide quality and timely health services to the patients. While interacting with the passengers, the Deputy Commissioner inquired about the facilities and service delivery available in the Yatri Niwas on all aspects.

Appreciating the government for making unprecedented arrangements for the devotees of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, 2024, the pilgrims thanked the Deputy Commissioner for the exceptional arrangements and services provided by the district administration. Later, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the security arrangements made by JKP and other security agencies. He also wished the pilgrims a safe and smooth spiritual journey.
