Hathras Stampede: A sad news has come from Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. A major accident occurred due to stampede in Bhole Baba Satsang here. More than 30 people who had come to attend the satsang died in the stampede. The Chief Medical Officer of Etah confirmed this. 19 women are also among the dead.
More than 30 people including women and children died
Etah CMO Dr. Umesh Kumar Tripathi has confirmed more than 30 dead bodies. These include 19 women and 3 children. According to the information received, Bhole Baba's satsang was organized in Fullerai village of Sikandrarao police station area of Hathras district. As soon as the satsang ended, a stampede broke out. During this, more than 30 devotees died. The bodies of the dead and the injured have been sent to Etah Medical College. The death toll in this incident is expected to increase.
An eyewitness narrated the incident
A woman who was an eyewitness to the incident said that a large number of people had gathered for the satsang. After the satsang was over, people started leaving, but in the meantime people were rushing to leave and were not even looking at each other. In this incident, many women and children fell and the crowd was running over them and none of the people present there helped them.
