Gold prices rise slowly, silver stable, know today's latest rates in different cities

Gold and Silver rates today: There has been no significant movement in the precious metal market for the last few days. Globally, investors are keeping an eye on the statement of Fed Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and employment data. Due to which dry conditions are being seen in the market.

Locally, the price of silver in Ahmedabad has remained stable at Rs. 90000 per kg for the last three days. On the other hand, there has been a slight fluctuation in the price of gold. Yesterday gold 999 was increased by Rs. 250. It was quoted at 74150 per 10 grams. Today the market opened at Rs. 100. 74300 per 10 grams was being quoted.

Change in the import value basis of gold and silver

The central government has increased the import price base of gold by $ 4 to $ 748 per 10 grams. According to a notification issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, the import price of silver has been reduced by $ 11 to $ 934 per kg. The central government has increased the import price of the white metal by $ 109 to $ 1028 per kg. Which is the highest since August 7, 2020. The central government changes the import base price of gold and silver every fortnight. India is the largest importer of silver and the second largest consumer of gold.

MCX Gold-Silver

In precious metals futures trading, MCX gold August futures opened at Rs 71,684 per 10 gram at the start of the session, touched a high of Rs 71,710 and a low of Rs 71,602 during the day, before rising by Rs 45 to Rs 71,699. Against this, gold-guinea July contract fell by Rs 8 per gram to Rs 58,093 and gold-petal July contract fell by Rs 5 per gram to Rs 7,117. Gold-mini July futures rose by Rs 89 to Rs 71,418 per 10 gram.

In silver futures, silver opened at Rs 87,821 per kg at the start of the July session, touching a high of Rs 87,860 and a low of Rs 87,654 during the day, was trading at Rs 87,752, up by Rs 230. Silver-mini August contract rose by Rs 35 to Rs 89,818 and silver-micro August contract rose by Rs 52 to Rs 89,828.
