Girls will soon get bicycles, old books for children will be kept in the libraries of panchayats and schools

Raipur, July 1 (HS). Bicycles will soon be provided to school girls in the district. This will provide great relief to the girls in commuting from home to school. Also, old books which are extra or which have already been read will be kept in the libraries of panchayats and schools. This will prove useful for new students and students will be able to read those books even on holidays. Old books of the cluster will soon be stored in the library. Textbooks should be distributed in a time bound manner in government, aided and private schools.

Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, while reviewing on Monday in the Red Cross meeting room located in the collectorate premises, said that such vegetables like tomatoes, chillies, coriander should be produced in the kitchen gardens of the schools which are useful and can be used in the mid-day meal of the children. Also, two pairs of school dresses should be made available to the children as soon as possible. The collector said that if any school building or any part of it is dilapidated and a new building has to be constructed, then the old buildings should be destroyed in a proper manner and the process of auctioning their debris should also be done, information about this should be recorded in the school records. He gave instructions to improve the examination results and maintain quality in studies.

Dr. Singh has given instructions to provide the list of employees who have been absent from the School Education Department for last three years. After this action will be taken against those employees. The collector has also given instructions to prepare and send proposals for construction and repair of two school buildings from each development block and for making kitchen sheds. He said that the kitchen shed should be made in such a way that it is useful. Children of Balwadi should be admitted in the primary school. He said that information regarding mid day meal should be sent to the District Panchayat CEO daily.

Apart from this, the works of RTE, Student Accident Insurance Scheme, Scholarship, Innovation, Teacher Setup, Mahtari Dular Scheme, Samagra Shiksha were reviewed. On this occasion, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep, DEO Vijay Khandelwal, District Coordinator Samagra Shiksha KS Patel and other officers and employees were present.
