Roadways employees said that after the implementation of the hit and run law, in case of an accident, drivers can be fined up to seven lakhs and jailed for up to ten years, due to which it will become difficult for drivers to drive on the road, because no matter who is at fault, the driver will have to bear the punishment and fine.

Roadways employees said that this law will prove to be a curse for the drivers, the government should either take it back or amend this law. On Monday, a large number of roadways employees gathered at the new bus stand under the banner of Haryana Roadways Sanjha Morcha and protested against the hit and run law. Jaikunwar Dahiya, Sumer Siwach, Dinesh Hooda, Giriraj, Suresh Nahra, Rajesh of Sanjha Morcha said that many such cases have come to light in which someone commits suicide by getting under a bus, truck or other vehicle, or an accident occurs due to the negligence of another person, in such a case if the driver stops there then he is beaten to death by the mob.

If he runs to save his life, the new law of the central government will impose a fine of up to seven lakhs and put the driver behind bars for ten years, which will ruin the life of not only the driver but also his parents, wife, children, i.e. the entire family. This law will be applicable to every person in the country who has a driving license and drives any kind of vehicle on the road, whether it is government or private. Along with this, Sanjha Morcha also demanded to fulfill the demands as per the accepted agreement with the government.
