Kolkata, 01 July (HS). Governor C.V. Anand Bose is going to Chopra amidst the controversy over the swearing-in of two newly elected Trinamool MLAs. He will also return to Chopra directly from Delhi on Tuesday. After meeting the family of Jugal, the lover who was harassed by the Trinamool leader, he will go to Cooch Behar from there where a woman BJP leader was stripped and beaten. Then instead of returning to Kolkata, he will return directly to Delhi from there. He will report to the Union Home Minister about this. Raj Bhavan sources gave this information on Monday.
He has attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's government over the series of lynching incidents in the state. He has said, “Even in the jungle, there will not be such a bad situation.”
It is noteworthy that the newly elected MLA from Barahnagar Sayantika Banerjee and the newly elected MLA from Bhagwangola Rayat Hussain are sitting on a dharna in the Bengal Assembly awaiting the swearing-in ceremony.
