Dumka, 1 July (HS). A divisional review meeting was held under the chairmanship of the state's Road Construction, Water Resources and Building Construction Minister Basant Soren. In the meeting, Minister Soren took information about the schemes implemented under the Building Construction Department.
While reviewing the building construction, information was taken from the Executive Engineers of all the districts of Santhal Pargana about the schemes being implemented district wise. The most important of which was the new Collectorate building being constructed in Deoghar district and the new sub-division office construction work in Jamtara district. The concerned officer informed that 80 works of the Deoghar Collectorate building have been completed. On which the Minister directed to complete 100 works by September 2024.
In the same sequence, it was told that the construction work of the sub-divisional office of Jamtara has been completed only 30 days ago. On which the minister directed to complete 100 works by February 2025. While reviewing the schemes of 5 Dumka district, 1 Deoghar, 1 Jamtara, 1 Pakur, 5 Godda, which received administrative approval in the financial year 2023-24 under the Building Construction Department, the minister has directed to complete the work on time. Under the work plan of the next 45 days, repair work is to be done in various buildings of the districts. Many necessary instructions related to its preparation were given to the departmental officials.
During the review of the schemes being run in Santhal Pargana division by the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department under the State Building Construction Limited, it was told that 2 medical colleges and hospitals are being constructed for the health department. In which 85% of the work of 500-bedded hospital has been completed in Phulo Jhano Medical College Hospital. The minister said that this is a very important scheme. Complete it as soon as possible by giving it priority and a 300-bed hospital is to be constructed in Mahagama of Godda. Instructions were given to start the construction soon after completing all the procedures. In the construction work of District Early Intervention Center being built in Sadar Hospital of Godda district, it was told that 68% of the work of this scheme has been completed. In the construction work of Critical Care Center, CHC, the minister said that these schemes are for the general public.
