Ranchi, 01 July (HS). The court of PMLA Special Judge Rajiv Ranjan heard the discharge petition filed by Talha Khan, an accused in the illegal purchase and sale of 4.55 acres of land of Bariatu Mauja occupied by the Army, on Monday. After the hearing, the court has reserved the order. The court will pronounce its reserved order on July 4.
The accused had filed a discharge petition on May 20, claiming himself innocent in the case. The ED arrested Talha Khan, a resident of Baragain, on April 14, 2023. He has been in jail since then. Ten accused, including former Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan, Bhanu Pratap Prasad, are chargesheeted in the case.
