Ayodhya Ram Temple: A large number of devotees are flocking to the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. A large number of these devotees also include elderly people. In such a situation, the trust keeps taking new decisions to take special care of the convenience of all the devotees in the Ram temple. According to the information received, recently the Ram Mandir Trust is thinking of taking a decision on a new facility for the elderly who come to visit Ramlala. The facility of palanquin may soon be available to the devotees who visit Ramlala. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust is considering starting this facility.
Although palanquins or any other means of transport are required only by handicapped and elderly visitors, any devotee in need can travel and use the palanquin.
A large number of devotees are reaching Ayodhya
Since the consecration of Lord Ram, a large number of devotees are reaching the grand Shri Ram temple at Ram Janmabhoomi to have darshan of Lord Ram. There are also some devotees who are unable to travel due to old age, physical disability and other reasons. The trust has arranged wheel chairs to transport such devotees to the temple, but these are proving to be inadequate for overweight or physically disabled pilgrims. Devotees who are unable to sit face inconvenience in going.
No decision has been taken yet regarding the palanquin
In such a situation, keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, the trust is seriously considering starting the palanquin facility in the coming days. Trust member Dr. Anil Mishra said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the palanquin. The system will definitely be strengthened in the future.
